This policy explains how we process personal data when you visit 01energy.gr or contact us, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Greek law 4624/2019.

Messages and enquiries: when you email or call us, we process your name, contact details and the content of your message to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling enquiries, or steps you request before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR).

Site preferences: your language and theme choice are stored in your browser so the site remembers them. This data stays on your device.

Cookie choices: we store your consent decision in your browser. Legal basis: our legal obligation to record consent (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Statistics: only if you allow statistics cookies, we may measure aggregated use of the site to improve it. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Technical logs: our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address and request time to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest in security and operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our behalf, such as website hosting and email providers, under data processing agreements, and with authorities when the law requires it.

Where a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, we rely on adequate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless a contract follows, in which case the retention periods of that contract and of tax law apply. Cookie consent records are kept for the lifetime of the choice, up to 12 months. Technical logs are kept for a short period set by our hosting provider.

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to people who need it.
